Välkommen to “Jansdotters” — My summer studio

Come and visit me in my lovely, scrappy and most charming little play house of mine. A few years ago I stumbled upon this abandoned house in my village called Vårdö on Åland Islands, a beautiful archipelago inbetween Sweden and Finland. I was lucky,
I was able to rent it and now I have slowly been updating this run down house with simple means, a great deal of care and a lot of wall paint and I love it. This is where I print on fabric, draw new motifs, collage, explore and paint. I enjoy inviting friends to make together and I look forward to host intimate workshops here . I also have a small summer shop here, where you can find hand printed fabrics, prints, books, cushion covers, one of a kinds, totes and more. I plan to open up "Jansdotters" to the public on select dates this summer and will share updated opening hours here regularly. Please check back for more information.
