LOTTA’S PRINT WORKSHOP / NEW YORK
SATURDAY ARPIL 6, 2019. 12 - 5 PM
I am delighted that I am finally able to teach my workshop here in New York after many requests and much interest. I have found a lovely space with abundant daylight where we will have a most creative afternoon filled with exploration, play, sharing, making, and hopefully very inky fingers.
In this 5-hour workshop we will be printing on paper, stationery, fabric swatches, and other lovely things. Together we will explore a few different, easy, yet very effective printing techniques, staying away from special or expensive equipment so you can continue to do it all at home. This workshop resonates with beginners and experienced designers alike, no experience necessary.
You will walk away from this workshop with some complete projects, the know-how to create prints and patterns of your own, and written instructions and inspiration for printing on everything from notecards to scarves. All supplies and materials are included and you will receive a print making kit and a few other special gifts. The workshop starts at 12pm and ends at 5pm. It will take place in a charming and bright space in Midtown, next door to Port Authority and four major subway lines. Location details will be emailed to you once you have registered and paid for the class.
We will have some coffee, tea, and water and some nibbles available for you, but please arrive with a full belly! We have lots to do this Saturday and we are going to need all our energy. After we finish up the workshop at 5pm I hope you will stay for cocktail hour — mingle and toast with me and new friends with a glass of sparkly wine. This is such a brilliant and fun way for me to get to spend more time together, snap photos, ask questions and enjoy a great creative group of people. At 6pm we will wrap up.
This workshop is limited to 26 people
Cost $360 per person
Because Lotta’s Print Workshop involves advanced preparation of materials, space rentals, catering, and because there are expenses associated with planning for each guest, this workshop is non-refundable. Please plan thoughtfully to avoid any confusion or scheduling conflicts before you register.
If unavoidable circumstances prevent you from attending the workshop, let us know as soon as possible. All individual cancellations must be made in writing via email and are effective upon receipt. In that event, Lotta Jansdotter will do everything we can to find a replacement. If this is possible, we will be happy to refund your fee, less US$90. Please note that if a replacement cannot be secured, the workshop is fully non-refundable. Lotta Jansdotter does not guarantee that a replacement will be found.
